Supported Self Help

Supported Self Help is a guided self-help programme that can help you with common mental health problems including stress, anxiety and depression.

What is Supported Self Help?

Supported Self Help is a guided self-help programme that can help you with stress, anger management, feeling alone, self-esteem, anxiety, grief and loss, depression and menopause.

The Supported Self Help programme aims to increase your wellbeing, self-esteem and confidence and reduce the likelihood of needing further help with your mental health.

How does it work?

Many people don’t get help with their mental health problems straight away. Supported Self Help can help you get the support you need more quickly. We believe that getting help sooner rather than later is more effective and can prevent things getting worse.

What can it do for me?

Our Supported Self Help programme offers one-to-one support to improve your mental health and to help you make positive choices in your life.

We will work with you to help you understand your symptoms and offer support and guidance that you can use to improve your wellbeing.

“It raised my self-esteem… I feel I am more able to make decisions and plans. I have been able to off load and talk about issues that weighed heavily. I have been helped to find the tools to deal positively with some very negative issues in my life.”
